Easter Basket
About a week ago, Granny was tinkering about the garden shed in her backyard. She was just getting ready to head back toward the house when she heard a tiny squeak. Feeling something soft under her shoe, she looked down to find a small mound of gray fluff. Upon further inspection, she realized it was a nest of bunnies. Seven newborn baby bunnies were huddled in a mass, surrounded by piles of the momma bunny's fur. Their tiny eyes are still closed but they do respond to the sound your voice. We've taken great care not to disturb them, in hopes that the mother will return to the nest. In the meantime, we are keeping an eye out to make sure they are safe.

OMG.....That is a real Easter Basket, They are precious I hope the mother does return but she most likely will. Bunny mothers like to leave the nest alone for awhile to take away the fact she's nesting there. The predators are less likely to find them if she's not there......They always line the nest with their fur. It's so amazing that you found them so close to Easter : )
